Storing your Will and other valuable documents in our secure storage facility will ensure they are available quickly when they are needed. You may choose to store your Lasting Power of Attorney, letters of wishes, severance of tenancy and all land registry documents. We strongly recommend storing your valuable documents to ensure your family can administrate your Estate without having complicated and often expensive fees in the future.
Only you or your executors (if you have passed away) can retrieve your Will or other documents and must produce a valid death certificate and suitable identification. We endeavour to have the original documents available within 48 hours (Monday-Friday) for collection or dispatched through secure registered post.
Postal costs are dependent upon the Royal Mail pricing structure at the time of the request. (All requests for document retrieval should be made to 4 Probate and Wills Ltd. We reserve the right to ask for proof of identity with any requests).
Annual storage cost is payable in advance by standing order from as little as £16.66 plus vat. You will be provided with storage cards for your Executors with your unique reference number and document details. Will storage with life time amendments is available.
There will be no charge for the retrieval of the Will on production of the death certificate, however a £20 plus vat retrieval and handling charge is made should you simply want the documents back.
